Arturo López Ayala studied architecture at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH) Zurich and at Harvard Graduate School of Design. He completed his diploma at ETH with Professor Christian Kerez.

In his work, López Ayala focuses on spatial innovation through structural and material approach.
